INTRODUCTORY COURSE
- for the beginner
Learn the basics of sailing a yacht - how to handle the gear,
how to complete manoeuvres while enjoying this exciting sport.
2 x 3 hour lessons - $225—includes 1 twilight sail
Usually held at weekends 9.30am to 12.30pm
COMPETENT CREW COURSE-
Learn how to set, find the wind direction, trim the sails on all ‘points of sailing’, including sail shape and control and helming techniques, the right of way rules, terminology and manoeuvres such as tacking and gybing. Learn new skills and manoeuvres man overboard procedure, anchoring & mooring, use of spinnaker pole, reducing sail area, safety. Includes course notes and Yachting Australia log book.
4 x 3 hour practical lessons, plus 1 Twilight Race - $400 per person
Usually held at weekends from 1pm to 4pm.

SPINNAKER & RACE COURSE
Want to get into racing? This course will take you through the basics of racing including starting and mark roundings, while at the same time learning how to handle a spinnaker.
2 x 6 hour practical lessons - $400 per person
INSHORE CERTIFICATE
PRACTICAL COURSE
This course teaches you to take command of a vessel inshore. So if you would like to charter a boat in Sydney or any destination around the world, this course is a must. It teaches you boat handling , sailing skills, how to organise your boat and crew, coping with emergencies and much more.
4 x 3 hour practical lessons - $400 per person
DINGHY SAILING
Learn to sail a Laser with a personalised programme to suit you. Whether it is one-on-one training or as a group, you are able to learn at your own pace.
