The regatta which wound up on Tuesday, attracted more than 170 entrants. Classes included Optimists, Sabots, Lasers, Flying 11s, 29ers, 420s and sailboarders. It started in cold 20-25 knot nor-westerlies and 1m chop but became increasingly lighter, with extremely light south-easterly breeze on the final day. Several Central Coast competitors competed, representing the Belmont club.

In the Flying 11 class, the light combination of Kurt Hansen and Lindsay Pike (Sail no 1263) enjoyed victory in the final two heats to finish fourth overall.

In the same class sisters Caitlyn and Sophie McIntosh from Wamberal (Sail no 1337) handled the tough first day very well, with a second and fourth placing and a later third placing helped them to seventh overall. Their Belmont clubmate Nina Long skippered her F11 to one race win on day one and consistency was rewarded with a sixth overall placing.
The overall F11s winners were Hunters Hill sailors Ravi Raj and Emma Jones who dominated with five wins over the 10 races.
Meanwhile in the 29ers Sam Ellis and Murray Jones who were new to the class finished seventh in a fleet of 15.
